HIRING FOREIGN ENGLISH TEACHERS

Responsibilities	Main: Teaching IELTS and/or other English courses, including Cambridge, early childhood education (ECE), SAT/ACT, TOEIC, general & communicative English, etc. at Smartcom’s training centers, high-school partners, and other projects. Optional: Proofreading and editing teaching materials and other written contents. Voice and/or video recording for online courses and mobile apps.
Requirements	Native English speakers from the US, UK, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree or higher, TEFL Certificate Experience: Specialized IELTS courses: A minimum of one-year experience in IELTS training for students of various band scores. Business English & General English courses; Cambridge English, Early childhood education (ECE) and Junior English courses: At least six months of TEFL experience. Qualities: Punctual, dependable, open, and communicative. Probationary period: 02 weeks.
Benefits	Part-time position: IELTS: US$22-25 NET per hour. SAT/ACT: US$25-28 NET per hour. General English, Junior English, Cambridge: US$20-23 NET per hour. Proofreading & editing, Voice/Video recording: US$15-20 NET per hour. (The number of teaching, editing, and/or recording hours varies. Payments are made monthly.) Full-time position: US$2,250 – US$3,000 NET per month, based on experience. 100 total teaching hours per month (average 25 hours per week). Visa Sponsorship & Work Permit: Full-time: Smartcom supports 100% of the visa and work permit cost. 10-20 weekly hours: Smartcom supports 50% of the visa and work permit cost. Under 10 weekly hours: Smartcom assists with the application procedures.
